Chad R. Vickery
Founding Partner

Chad Vickery founded Vickery Law to offer DC-area and Washington State families something increasingly rare: a highly experienced attorney who handles your matter personally, from the first conversation to the signing table.

His practice centers on estate planning and asset protection, helping professionals, parents, and business owners build plans that hold up when they are needed most. He brings to that work more than twenty years of legal and strategic experience, including senior leadership roles at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems and fieldwork advising democratic institutions across nearly forty countries. That background informs how he thinks about protection, planning, and what is truly at stake for the people he serves.

Outside of estate planning, Chad advises a select number of clients and institutions on election law, democratic governance, and intellectual property. That work comes primarily through long-standing relationships and his ongoing role as Board Chair and General Counsel of The Concord Project, a nonpartisan democracy innovation organization.

Every client works directly with Chad.
